Abdulfatai Olukoya Sobande is the Chief Executive Officer of AUGUST 22ND COMMUNICATION LINKS (BN:7060591) (a media Consultancy firm) and publishers of EDU-BIZ NEWS, an Abeokuta based online publication and producers of EDU-BIZ NEWS NETWORK WEEKLY ON RADIO, a news-magazine program committed to the promotion and development of education and business enterprise in Nigeria, through exclusive, undiluted and balanced reportage of activities in the two key sectors of the nation's economy.

He is a well-trained journalist from the prestigious Mass Communication Department of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta.

A Holder of Higher National Diploma (HND), member of Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) and Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), since 2004.

He is a Seasoned Media-Practitioner /Consultant with over two decades experience in both broadcast and print journalism, starting from his days as a Trainee-Reporter with "Complete Sports Newspaper" in 1996 and Defunct Nigerian Television Authority, Ikeja Channel Seven now NTA Channel 10, Lagos between 1997 and 1998.

Also did his mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) with newsroom of another NTA in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital where he distinguished himself between 2002 and 2003, before working as the first Ogun State Correspondent for both "National Mirror Newspaper", a daily national publication between 2006 and 2009 and Business HallMark, a weekly national publication in 2009 and later moved to join the first private radio station in Ogun State "Rockcity 101.9FM, Abeokuta in January 2010 and left March, 2020 as a Senior Reporter, later had a stint as an Editor with "Crime Busters", an online publication.
