Nigerian Army Begins Recruitment For 89 Regular Recruits Intake

 The Nigerian Army has commenced  online registration for recruitment into its 89 Regular Recruits intake for Trades/Non-Tradesmen and women.


 The exercise which commenced last Monday 31st March, is expected to end on Saturday 17th May, 2025.


Permanent Secretary, Ogun State Bureau of Cabinet and Special Services, Mr. Olarenwaju Saka in a statement made available to Edu-Biznews on Thursday, stated that the application forms could be accessed online at https://recruitment.army.mil.ng.


He added that all applications would be screened online, with qualified applicants being shortlisted afterwards.

Saka in the statement, specified that applicants should be single, Nigerian citizen by birth and must possess a valid National Identity Number (NIN) or Bank Verification Number slip (BVN)


He added that they must also be medically, physically and psychologically fit, free of any criminal conviction and must be between the ages of 18 and 22 years for Non-Trades men and women, while 18 to 26 years for Tradesmen and women respectively,  stating that the required height is 1.68 metres for males and 1.65 metres for females.

          

According to the statement, all applicants must possess a minimum of four passes at not more than two sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB, while Trades men and women must have Trades Test/City and Guild Certificate.

The statement also added that shortlisted applicants from the online screening should report for Physical Screening Exercise at the State Recruitment Centre, 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala Barracks, Abeokuta, from Monday 2nd, June to Monday, June 16, 2025.
