Remo Stars Widen Lead In NPFL , Beat Enyimba 2-0, As Rivers Utd Fall To Bayelsa Utd In Yenegoa

Remo Stars have again widen their lead in Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL , after their impressive 2-0 win against Enyimba International of Aba in a week 31 match played on Thursday in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State 

Goals from Adedayo and Olasupo in the 28th and 69th minutes respectively secured the needed maximum three points in the match to earn themselves 60 points while the Aba Elephants dropped to ninth position with 43 points 

Second placed Rivers United of Port Harcourt are eight points behind Remo Stars with 52 points, after a lone-goal loss to home side, Bayelsa United in Yenegoa who moved to the 12th position with 41 points 

Abia Warriors climbed up to the third position with 50 points after their  2-0 win against Lobi Stars of Markudi who are still languishing at the bottom of the table with 23 points in Nigeria's top flight league 

Shooting Stars of Ibadan remained in the fourth position with 47 points, after being forced to a two-all draw by home side, El-kanemi Warriors in Maiduguri who are in 13th position with 41 points 

Defending champions, Enugu Rangers are in the fifth position with 45 points, after being humiliated at home 0-1 to visiting Plateau United of Jos who are on  the 11th spot with 41 points 

The match between sixth placed Ikorodu City with 45 points and 15th placed Katsina United with 39 points, has been postponed till a later date 

Bendel Insurance of Benin are in the seventh position with 45 points, after a barren draw with the home side, Kano Pillars who are closely followed in the eight position with 44 points 

Kwara United of Ilorin lone-goal win against visiting Nasarawa United, earned the Afonja Warriors who are occupying 10th position with 42 points, leaving the visitors in the 17th position with 36 points 

Niger Tornadoes of Minna are occupying 14th position with 40 points after loss to home side, Akwa United won 2-0 in Uyo to move to the 16th position with 37 points while both Sunshine Stars of Akure with 34 points and Heartland of Owerri with 35 points are still struggling in relegation water in the 19th and 18th positions respectively
