National Examinations Council (NECO) will be test running its Computer Based Examimation in five subjects including English language, Mathematics, Civic Education, one Entrepreneur and one Science subject in the forthcoming examinations
The Ogun State Coordinator of the examination council, Mrs Bukola Alloh who revealed this during her recent visit with other top officials to the State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu at his office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, the State capital, said that the Federal Ministry of Education had adopted and directed that CBE should be test run on the five subjects
She explained that the visit was aimed at seeking synergy with school principals for the conducting a hitch free exercise in the state
Responding, the State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu lauded National Examinations Council (NECO) for introducing Computer Based Examination (CBE) for candidates writing its examinations
He described the introduction of CBE as a laudable development that would enhance the credibility of the examinations and viability of NECO certificate.
"I hope that everybody in the sector do what they are supposed to do, NECO is a credible organisation, we want to assure you that we'll continue to support you,” he assured
