Gov.Aiyedatiwa Okays Employment Of 1,100 Teachers For Public Primary Schools In Ondo

 

GovernorLucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has approved the employment of One thousand One hundred(1,100) teachers recruited by Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board, (ODSUBEB), to fill critical vacancies in public primary schools across the State

Governor Aiyedatiwa gave the directive after the completion of the recruitment process.

Edu-Biznews recalled that the Aiyedatiwa's administration had earlier witthin two weeks, gave approval for documentation of over one thousand teachers for public secondary schools in the state.

The Executive Chairman of ODSUBEB, Mr. Victor Olambitan appreciated Mr. Governor for approving the recruitment aimed at addressing gaps and possible shortfalls created by workers leaving the Public Service.

Olabimtan in a statement by the Director of Information and Public Relations of the board, Prince Bolu Diesel Ajijo, 

expressed confidence that the employment of the new teachers would assist in improving the quality of education delivered in schools, especially in rural and hard to reach areas across the state.

He  added that the employment would go a long way to improve Pupils –Teachers’ Ratio in public primary schools across the state 

Documentation for the successful candidates will begin this week

Full details on how successful applicants will check for their names and commence documentation will soon be made public, he added
