Ogun State Government has directed all public and private primary and secondary schools, as well as Government Science and Technical Colleges in the state to proceed on Mid-Term holiday for 2024/2025 First Term academic session beginning from Thursday, October 31 to .
The State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu who announced this in a statement made available to Edu-Biznews on Tuesday, stated that the break would end on Friday, November 1, 2024
He added that Open Day would be observed by both public and private primary and secondary schools on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, while schools were to resume for academic activities on Monday, November 4, 2024.
The Commissioner in the statement, enjoined parents and guardians to take adequate care of their children and wards during the period.
