Ogun Budget Commissioner To Youths- You Must Be Visionary In Your Thinking To Reposition Nigeria's Economy

The Ogun State commissioner for Budget and Planning, Mr. Olaolu Olabimtan, has asked Nigerian youths to adopt visionary thinking, adaptability, collaboration, empathy, and compassion as strategies to reposition the nation from its current economic challenges 

The Commissioner was speaking as a Theme Speaker during the National Convention of the Junior Chamber International (JCI), in Nigeria, tagged, ‘Gateway 2024’, with a theme: “Inspiring the Future: Resilient Leadership In Challenging Economic Times”, held in Kuto , Abeokuta, the State capital 

Olabimtan stressed  the significance of visionary and critical thinking with other strategies which he identified as essential solutions that must be implemented beyond mere discussions to benefit the people and  general society.

Olabimtan who mentioned various issues ranging from unemployment, technology disruptions, inflationary pressures, global pandemics, climate change and other tasking global effects, emphasized  resilient leadership as one of the effective tools to reposition any nation facing the current economic challenges.

“The solution is to be resilient, stand strong, think and think properly to do the right thing as there are opportunities existing in challenges”, he pointed out.

The Commissioner inspired them on resilient leadership as an effective way to lay foundations for innovative, stable, productive, and prosperous nation, especially in the current economic circumstances.
