Mobile Classroom Nigeria Presents Prizes To Virtual Tests Winners At Federal University Otuoke

The Management of  Federal University, Otueke, Bayelsa State has hosted Mobile Classroom Nigeria to a prize presentation ceremony during which outstanding students of the university who took part in the Virtual Tests were rewarded.

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the prize giving ceremony was graced by the  Vice-Chancellor, who was ably represented by Professor Chris Onyema, the Deputy  Vice-Chancellor of the university.

At the ceremony, Professor Chris Onyema commended the students for their outstanding performance in the nationwide VirtualTest for tertiary institutions, conducted via the Mobile Classroom app.

OTN News gathered that four students of the Federal University of Otuoke, Bayelsa had emerged as winners in the Virtual Tests including the overall best in Political Science category of the August 2024 edition of the Virtual Tests.

The Founder of the Mobile Classroom App and Virtual Tests Mr Akeem Salami during the ceremony  affirmed that the app is designed to transform learning, allows lecturers to create personalized class spaces, upload recorded audio and video lectures, and earn from daily subscriptions—providing income even after retirement.

He further revealed that "For students, the Mobile Classroom app offers flexibility to access learning materials at their own pace, improving comprehension", adding that "The VirtualTest feature enables lecturers to set up assessments without manual grading—results are automatically processed, saving time and ensuring accuracy."


Deputy Vice Chancellor of the university  also encouraged other tertiary institutions in the country to own the Mobile Classroom App and embrace the limitless learning  opportunities it holds.

He also emphasized that the level of success recorded by the four students of the university in the Virtual test is an achievement that  underscores the academic resilience of Federal University, Otueke, showcasing it as a tech-forward institution driving innovation in education.

The prize winners, shortly after receiving their prizes, appreciated the Mobile Classroom App Technopreneur for making the innovative educational app and tests available to students, affirming that it makes learning easier for students while breaking the barriers of distance.
