AFCON Qualifier: Eagles Depart Nigeria For Libya For Return Leg Clash Against Mediterranean Knights On Tuesday




Nigeria's Super Eagles  have left for Libya for the return leg of the Africa Cup of Nations qualification against the Mediterranean Knights , slated for this Tuesday.  

A video posted on the team’s social media handles on Sunday showed when the players boarded bus from their hotel to the airport and their arrival at the airport to board a plain to the North African country

Eagles will be targeting a win against the Libyans in the crucial match, to enable them secure the much needed qualification ticket 

It took the composure and exceptional displayed by the substitute Lazio midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Basiru before Nigeria could break the resilience of the Libyans in defense and secure the maximum three points in the first leg played last Friday in Uyo which puts Eagles ahead of Group D with  Seven points, while Benin Republic is next with Six points , Rwanda in third place with just two points and Libya with a point out of three matches
