Nigerians have been asked to always shun devisive tendencies and embrace peace in all dealings among themselves irrespective of their religion, tribe and status differences
Ogun State Body of Justice of Peace holders, Egba division's Chairman, Elder Oluwalogbon Enilolobo(JP) made the called in a message made available to Edu-Biznews on Saturday in Abeokuta, as part of activities marking the Universally recognized world peace day as declared by the United Nation (UN) on every September 21, in recognition of the importance of a peaceful society
"The importance of a peaceful society and the need to cohabitate can never be overemphasised there can not be any other time in our Nationhood that an atmosphere of a serene and peaceful lively hood needed than our current situation", he stated
Speaking on the 2024 theme "Cultivating a Culture of Peace", he urged elders in the society as well as parents and children in every home to always be a peace seeking individual.
"it is true that we are all been stressed by different uncertainties, needs, demands of different sort which may aggravate us and test our patience, maintaining our peace can be cultivated as an habit", he maintained
"This is the character that the body of Justice Of Peace (JP) Members, Egba division are asking us to imbibe"
"Let us all come up with this conclusion that it can be done. We can all make peace possible around us in all we do.Peace, no doubt is a catalyst for growth. Let us have it in all we do", he urged Nigerians
