For his broad spectrum accomplishments in business, politics, community service and philanthropy, the 9th Osi of Egbaland, High Chief Olabode Mustapha has been announced as the winner of the 2024 PR Primus Lifetime Achievement Award.
Addressing newsmen on Wednesday, the Managing Director of PR Primus, Mr. Akin Okudero, fnipr said High Chief Mustapha was picked by the Board for excelling above others after a comprehensive audit of the acts and achievements of the nominees.
High Chief Bode Mustapha fondly called BM represented Abeokuta North, Obafemi Owode and Odeda Federal Constituency between 1999 and 2003. He was also at a time a Board Member of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) and Chairman of the National Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).
He was the first blackman to be trained as a Department Store Manager in Germany and graduated with a First Class.
He attended Goethe Institute, Lunenburg, West Germany where he obtained a degree in Business Management.
He also bagged a Masters Degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the National Open University of Nigeria.
The Award will be presented to High Chief Mustapha and others at a high octane event scheduled to hold on wednesday, 9th October, 2024 at the Radisson Hotel, Abeokuta beginning from 12 noon.
Similarly, beneficiaries of the 2024 Empowerment Schemes in memories of former Ogun Head of Service, Engr. Lanre Bisiriyu and Communication Scholar, Prof. Lai Oso, would be unveiled at the ceremony.
