A People's Democratic Party (PDP) Councillorship Candidate, in Abeokuta North Local Government Area, Hon.Olawale Olumide Popoola has assured people in Ward 03, Ago-oko of a new dawn, if elected in the forthcoming Local Government elections in Ogun State
The PDP counciloship candidate expressed his readiness to fully partaked in the November 16, 2024 local Government poll.
Hon. Olawale Popoola popularly known as WALE MORE, also assured people of the town of his readiness to perform well and be a good ambassador to them
An easy-going and promising youth, Hon. Olawale, was born some years back at Ita-Balogun, Ago-oko in Abeokuta North Local Government of Ogun State.
He is a business man who joined politics about 15 years ago as a member of the opposition party, PDP.
A young talented table tennis player has been assisting his people in various form including empowerment of people and other community activities.
Hon Olawale Popoola has demonstrated his commitment to the progress and development of the town, using little financial resources from his business.
These and more prompted his people in his ward who are appealing to him to contest the coming local Government poll and wipe away their tears
They lamented that some of the past representatives of the ward performed woefully.
But the Popoola expressed confidence in winning the Councillorship poll, considering massive support from people in his community
The PDP candidate stressed the need for people to make meaning change by supporting his political party
He also urged the people of Ward 03, Ago-oko in Abeokuta North Local Government to troop out and vote for him in the local Government poll, promising them of more more good things in the town
Hon. Olawale Popoola, who is also the Tayese of Akinseku land, via Adebayo Sawmill, Abeokuta, equally promised not to disappoint them,if elected
He appreciated the leaders of his great party and the entire sons and daughters of his town for supporting him.
Ward 03, Ago-oko in Abeokuta North Local Government is divided into three ( 3 ) Zones.
Namely,: Oke oko, Ita-Balogun and Isale oko with 17 polling booths.
Hon. Olawale Popoola listed a number of projects to be executed and completed for the people of the ward within 100 days in office, after the election
The below are listed projects .
----- Provision of boreholes.
------ Solar Street lights to be provided.
-------Constant empowerment throughout the three ( 3 ) Zones.
-------To facilitate the employment for youths in his ward.
-------Community services will not be left out.
The local Government elections in the twenty local Governments of Ogun State comes up on Saturday 16th November,2024 as announced by the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission, OGSIEC.
