Ogun State government, in collaboration with the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), has compensated victims whose businesses were affected by the inferno  caused by the gas explosion that occurred at Ita-Oshin in Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State in April 2023

The affected people were given cash
and relief items, at the MKO Abiola Trade Fair Center, Laderin, Abeokuta.

The State Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Hon. Oluwafunmilayo Efuwape, while presenting cash to the victims, assured them that the present administration would always respond to the plight of residents in the state.

Represented by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mr. Lateef Benson, Hon.
