Saturday, 24th of August, 2024 has been fixed as a new date for semi finals matches of the ongoing 4th ValueJet SWAN Security Cup earlier slated for this Tuesday, 20th August
The resolution for the shift in dates for the remaining matches was arrived at during an online discussion with representatives of semi finalists.
Chairman of the Organizing committee, Mr Hakeem Adegbenro who made this known in a statement made available by the Ogun State SWAN Secretary, Olusegun Folarin to Edu-Biznews on Monday, says the semi finals match involving Nigeria Customs Service and the football team of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, will take place on Saturday 24th August by 12pm.
He says the second semi final game between the defending champion, The Police Machine and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, will take place immediately after the first game at the MKO International Stadium Kuto Abeokuta beginning from 2pm.
Akintunde in the statement added that the final and third place matches would be played on Monday, 26th August, 2024 beginning from 1pm while the final has been slated for 3pm in the afternoon.
