Tinubu Appoints Former Katsina Governor, Aminu Masari As TETFund's Chairman, Six Others As Board Members

Former Governor of Kastina State, 

Aminu Masari has been appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the new Chairman, Board of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).

Spokesman to the president, Ajuri Ngelale who made this known in a statement, also said  Tinubu equally  appointed six others as members of the board.

He listed those appointed to include Senator Sani Danladi, Sunday Adepoju, Nurudeen Adeyemi, Esther Onyinyechukwu Ukachukwu, Turaki Ibrahim and Aboh Eduyok.

President Tinubu tasked the immediate former governor of Katsina State between 2015 and 2023 and other board members of the agency to bring their vast experiences to bear on the task of providing the needed support for tertiary education, so as to enhance the productivity and quality of higher education in the country 

“The President expects the new members of the board of this pivotal institutional vehicle to be dedicated and committed to driving TETFund’s objective of providing the needed support for tertiary education with a view to enhancing the productivity and quality of higher education,” the statement stated
