Ogun Internal Revenue Agency's Boss Charges Microfinance Banks On Prompt Reconciliation Of Transactions




Microfinance Banks operating in Ogun State have been charged to always ensure prompt reconciliation of all their financial transactions into the State Government's coffers

Executive Chairman of the Ogun State Internal Revenue Service (OGIRS), Mr. Olugbenga Olaleye who gave the charge while playing host to the managements of Trust, Lavender, Astra Polaris, Emeralds and Ikenne Microfinance Banks in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, said that such practices would aid revenue growth and engender accountability at every given time.

Olaleye enjoined bankers to exhibit high level of professionalism, ethical standards and integrity in the discharge of their duties.

Similarly, Director, Other Taxes, OGIRS, Mrs. Oluyomi Dawodu, admonished the Micro Finance Banks to accord transaction activities with necessary attention, assuring that the agency would continue to strengthen its relationship with them.

Managing Directors of the Micro Finance Banks ,Messers Akindele Sulikifli, Bamidele Oyebolu and Mrs. Funnilayo Awolesi from Trust, Lavender, and Ikenne MFB respectively, in their separate remarks, lauded OGIRS for continuous partnership, promising to put more efforts into addressing challenges on ground
