Ogun State Government has commiserated with the family of late Rev. (Mrs.) Fola Achudume, wife of the General Overseer of Victory Life Bible Church, Abeokuta, Apostle Lawrence Achudume.
Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, who paid a condolence visit to the family’s residence at Asero Estate, Abeokuta, on behalf of the state government, said her demise was a great loss because she left a legacy of inspiration to many people through her steadfast advocacy for healthy and loving relationships.
The deceased according to him, has been a shoulder to lean on, and a rallying point for both the young and the old on issues bordering on marriage, life and spirituality, among others.
‘’On behalf of the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, we express our heartfelt condolences to the Achudume family on the demise of a great mother and revered preacher, who has impacted many lives with her audacious and scriptural counsel that has helped sharpen the lives and marital fortunes of a retinue of her listeners and followers.
“Be rest assured that the Governor's heart as well as that of the entire government goes to your family at this challenging period because your wife led a credible model of womanhood for people to take a cue from’’, the SSG said.
Responding on behalf of the family, husband of the deceased, Apostle Launrence Achudume appreciated the governor and others for standing by his family at this critical moment, praying that God would continue to make the state to wax stronger.
