Anu-Olu International College Abeokuta Rewards Most Dedicated Teacher With Cash Prize, Offers Free Tuition Fees To Exceptional Learners



Anu-Olu International College Abeokuta, a fast growing Nigerian co-educational secondary school in Ogun State on Wednesday rewarded its most dedicated staff, Olatunde Abigail with N100,000 cash prize, just as the school's management offered free tuition fees for learners with exceptional academic performances in Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary School Classes at the recently concluded 2023/2024 academic session 

Proprietor of the college, Hon.Semiu Bola Lawal  announced the incentive packages to various beneficiaries during a Valedictory Service and send forth held at the college's premises at Old Owode Onikolobo Road in Abeokuta South Local Government Area for the 2024 graduating set of the Junior Secondary School and Senior Secondary School Classes






He said that the cash reward was in appreciation of the commitment of the teacher to the success story of the school 

The awardee was also appreciated with another cash award by the Parents, Teachers Association (PTA) of the school, alongside with other teaching staff for their commitment to sustaining high academic standard in the college

The proprietor equally announced the offer of free tuition fees for the overall best learners in respective classes in both Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools , to reward them for the outstanding academic performances 


He also appreciated the parents for their commitment to the growth of school, seeking for more support to sustain high academic standard 

Guest speaker  and Deputy Chief Registrar in the Ogun State Judiciary, Mr.Aliu Soneye speaking on the theme of the event "Resilience -The Key To Academic Success", described resilience as ability to overcome challenges in life , charging the graduating students to cultivate strong character to be able to overcome the challenges not only in their academic pursuits but in daily activities in life 


Also Chairman of the event, Honourable Justice Titilayo Bello identified three types of friends in tertiary institutions to include achievers, talkers and truants, urging the graduating students to make friends with only those who are achievers who can inspire them to succeed in their academic pursuits and not talkers who only talk big and achieve nothing in life 

She also admonished them to stay away from friends who are truants , those students who don't  attending classes and capable of destroying their future on campus 


Justice Bello stressed the need for the graduating students to make friends with those who will assist them to achieve good grade right from their first year on campus and not those who are capable of destroying their future as undergraduates 

Principal of the college, Oluwaseun Balogun appreciated the parents for their patronage and school's management and teachers for their commitment to sustainance of high academic standard 




High point of the event was presentation of prizes and certificates to students with outstanding academic results and those who represented the school in different competitions and sporting events including Taiwo Ifeoluwa Philips who emerged as overall best graduating student for the 2024 set of Senior Secondary School Class 














The event was spiced up with various cultural dances and performances  by the students of the college
