Ogun State Government is concluding plan to offer scholarships to 1,000 girls, willing to pursue engineering courses in technical colleges across the state, as part of strategic moves to encourage more female students and reduce gender gap in the engineering sector

Acting Executive Secretary of the State Technical and Vocational Education Board (OGSTVEB), Mr. Olubori Akinleye who made this known in an interview with newsmen in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, also explained that the move was aimed at  addressing manpower shortage in technical colleges
