Ogun Govt Assures Applicants Of Merit , Fairness, Justice In Employment Process



 


Ogun State Civil Service Commission (CSC), has reiterated its commitment to ensuring merit, fairness, and justice during employment selection process in the state Civil Service

 Chairman of the commission, Engr. 'Tokunbo Odebunm gave the assurance,  during a Computer Based Test (CBT), for prospective applicants seeking employment in the Civil Service, at the ICT Hall, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, (FUNAAB).

Odebunmi explained that the exercise was organised for senior officers who were seeking employment for the post of State Counsel, Information Officer, Data Processing Officer, Higher Executive Officer, General Duty Officer, among other cadres, noting that only qualified and excellent professionals would be engaged based on their performance during the exercise and extended interviews.

"The Commission will base the selection process of applicants at all the stages involved on performance, professionalism and moral behaviours", Odebunmi stated.

          
He urged them to give their best and display good conduct to better their chances, saying government was aware of shortage of staff but could only accommodate what it would be able to cater for.

Two of the applicants, Mr. Jamiu Olusanya and Miss Abimbola Oluyomi, commended the state government for engaging professionals towards enhancing its workforce, promised to discharge their duties to the best of their abilities if employed.
