"The reforms we have initiated are intended to create a stronger, better foundation for future growth. There is no doubt the reforms have occasioned hardship. I feel your pains. Yet, they are necessary repairs required to fix the economy over the long run so that everyone has access to economic opportunity, fair pay and compensation for his endeavour and labour"

But founder of the foundation, Chief Hon Funmilayo Ireede-Oginni in her reaction to the president's broadcast, stressed the need for government to walk the talk by making various initiatives such as Consumers credit scheme , student loan, grants to support Small , Medium Enterprises MSMEs and agriculture are being implemented effectively to put an end to sufferings of Nigerians before end of this year

She appreciated the Tinubu's administration for introducing various reform policies aimed at repositioning the economy but urged government to urgently address the issue of food crisis by making sure farmers are given the needed support to provide massive food to make affordable for average families who are struggling to feed themselves because of high cost of foodstuff such as beans, rice , garri and pepper in the local market

The foundation of Future Promise Group of Schools Abeokuta and Chief Executive Officer of emerging business conglomerate Terra Integrated Services Limited also called on the president to always listen to Nigerians as promised in his broadcast for necessary adjustments to his government's reformed policies to avoid unnecessary pains or burden on the people

She assured that her foundation would continue to support less priviledged Nigerians in the society, particularly the gifted children by providing the scholarship awards to them to fulfill their respective goals while supporting women with the needed financial assistance to empower them in various small scale businesses and trades

Ireede-Oginni congratulated on the celebration of this year's democracy day and silver jubilee anniversary of democratic government in the country and urged government at all levels to emulate the spirit of selfless service of the Late Moshood Kashimawo Abiola, the acclaimed winner of June 12, 1993 presidential election in the country
