Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele has been honoured with Prestigious Distinguished Alumni Accomplishment Award by the Imperial College London Alumni Association.
Engr. Salako-Oyedele while receiving the Award during the Association’s 2024 Annual Dinner with the theme, ‘’Celebrating Leadership’’, at Victoria Island, Lagos, expressed joy that the group deemed her worthy of the Award
She described her presence for the award , as a way of showing commitment to the growth and success of the association, adding that the event allowed her to meet and network with old friends.
Appreciating the alumni for the gesture, she noted that its current crop from the institution could make the economy of any country vibrant, as they had been privileged to access quality education from one of the best colleges in the world, urging them to be more involved in the activities of the Alumni, saying the “network is the value of your net worth”.
According to the organisers of the event, the award became imperative due to her exemplary leadership role as a two-term Deputy Governor in Ogun State, which was praiseworthy and highly commendable.
