Nigeria's commercial bank, Polaris Bank, has assured Ogun State Government of the needed assistance in a wide range of areas, including infrastructure, housing, health care delivery, education, agriculture and other sectors as well as to establish a complementary relationship that will provide service to the people.

Mr. Adekunle Sonola gave the assurance while speaking with newsmen after a meeting with Governor Dapo Abiodun at the Governor's Office, Oke-Mosan in Abeokuta, the State capital
The Managing Director explained that the meeting with Governor was based on the need to take the state to a greater height having identified opportunities and areas of collaboration with the government.
‘’As a banker to the community, we are here to show our support and to also recognise the achievements on the ground, as well as offer our services for the progress and development of the state. The people will begin to see, in few months’ time, the delivery of the projects agreed on at the meeting," he stated
He affirmed that Governor Abiodun was running one of the most progressive states in the country with a lot of laudable objectives and achievements in the last four years, Sonola said ‘’the administration is doing wonderfully well in the area of infrastructural development and creating the right atmosphere for businesses to thrive’’.
He emphasised that his organisation had been part of the state for long, having one of the vibrant and modern branches in the state capital, promising the people of personal banking experience.
Sonola called on investors to take advantage of the conducive business environment provided by the government to open their businesses in the Gateway State.
