Ogun Govt Charges Officials To Be More Committed To Development Of Communities

Ogun State Government has charged its officials to be more committed to the development of local communities across the state to make them stronger economically

The State Commissioner for  Community Development, Alhaji Ademola Balogun who  gave the charge in a recent maiden meeting held with the management staff when he resumed duty  in the Ministry at his Office, in   Oke - Mosan Abeokuta, urged them to work as a team saying, collective commitment will definitely complement and support the developmental agenda of the present administration for the wellbeing of the people.

He tasked them to work as a team and one big family, so as to achieve the set goals of the Ministry towards moving the state to greater heights.

Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary in charge of the Ministry, Mr Fatai Ogunlana, briefed the Commissioner about the vision, and activities among other programmes of the agency, saying the agency could achieve more considering the wealth of experience and global ingenuity the Commissioner would inject.

He said that all the members of staff would be so glad not only to welcome him on board but also to graciously work with him in order to take the Ministry to a higher level.

The Permanent Secretary assured the Commissioner of the cooperation, loyalty and unalloyed commitment of the entire staff of the Ministry towards accomplishing the set agenda. 

In their separate remarks, Directors in the six Departments of the Ministry gave account of their stewardship ranging from various activities, programmes as well as achievements made so far.
