NGO Partners Ogun Handball Association To Hold 2-Day Clinic





 A Non-governmental organisation, A’S Ahmedu Foundation has concluded arrangements with the Ogun State Handball Association to hold a 2-Day Holiday Handball Clinic for school children in industrial town of  Ota and Abeokuta, the State capital 

The Project Manager, Lukman Omikunle in a statement made available to newsmen, stated that the clinic would hold in Abeokuta, between August 28 and 30, 2023 at the Ijeja Sports Complex, while the second phase would hold from September 7–9, 2023 at Iganmode Grammar School, Ota.

According to him , the goal is to take the kids off the street during and after holidays and ensure handball, as a sport, becomes attractive to all.

"We humbly seek your support and endorsement of this exercise which we believed will propel this noble and selfless project to the top and achieve its set goal.

"A’S Ahmedu Foundation is a non-profit organization with the sole objective set to contribute positively to the development and projection of the Nigerian youths for a brighter and rewarding future through handball and other sports.

"The humanitarian foundation is founded by Peter Ahmedu, an alumnus of Iganmode Grammar School, Ota and a former Ogun State handball player who has carved a niche for himself in the game and service to humanity.

"We humbly thank you in anticipation of your prompt and magnanimous response", the statement reads
