Shun Any Act That Will Tarnish The Image Of Government- Ogun Acting DG Lands Warns Workers

 

The Acting Director-General of Ogun State Bureau of Lands and Survey, Mr Emmanuel Akande has cautioned public servants on the payroll of the agency, against any act capable of tarnishing the image of government 

Akande, who is a former Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Lands  (Legal), gave the the warning during a meeting with staffers of the Bureau at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta

He urged them to embrace teamwork and cross-fertilise ideas for effective implementation of the government’s policies and programmes.

“Let us all work together in unity and love, as well as pray for one another. No one is an island of knowledge, the best of everyone will be projected where there is team spirit which will contribute to the growth of the Bureau", he enjoined them 

The Acting Director-General of Lands, however assured members of staff of the agency of a conducive working environment and adequate welfare package, to enhance their productivity.

Akande said the well-being of workers was paramount to organisational growth and development.

Also speaking, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Lands (GIS), Mr. Remi Oluwabiyi called for synergy among all the cadres in the Bureau for the accomplishment of tasks.

Also speaking, the State Surveyor-General, Sury. Oladele Ewulo emphasised the need to encourage a mutual relationship between the superior and subordinate officers, noting that no stone should be left unturned in the discharge of their duties.

Responding on behalf of the other members of staff, ESV. Saheed Salam and Mr.Rotimi Madandola appreciated the Acting DG and his team for their words of encouragement, promising that all hands would be on deck to achieve the target for the year.
