The Referees Committee has suspended three of its members for poor officiating in the ongoing matches in the Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL season
Secretary of the Committee, Sani Zubairu in a notice of suspension made available to newsmen, listed the suspended referees to include
Ndubuisi Ukah (Imo State), Otuwho Morrision (Delta State) and Faro Abdulrahman (Lagos State)
Ndubuisi and his second assistant referee, Otuwho were accused of poor performance in the match between Shooting Stars and Kwara United of Ilorin in Ibadan while Faro was accused of bad officiating in the match between Rivers United and Niger Tornadoes of Minna in Port Harcourt
The suspended referees according to the notice, are to appear before the Referee's Committee for explanation on what happened in the matches they officiated
