Fuel Scarcity Bites Harder In Abeokuta As Motorists Struggle To Get A Litre At N280, N300

The nationwide scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit, otherwise known as petrol in Nigeria  bite harder on Monday in Abeokuta,the Ogun State capital , as motorists, operators of commercial motorcycles and other consumers  struggled to get a little of the product between N280 and N300

Edu-biznews observed that most of the filling stations particularly at Adatan to Moore junction, Abiola way down to Isale-Ake and Ijaiye areas of the city had exhausted their supply of the product as they shut their gates to customers

There was long queue at only three filling stations ,Ajoke at Carwash- Adatan and Sunny Yinka at Abiola who adjusted their pump- price to N280 while the other at Adatan rounder about dispenced the product at N300 per Litre

The situation now forced only few transport operators to now charge N100 from N50 for every short distance within the city and charged  between N150 and N300 depending on the distance of persengers
