Ogun State Government says the introduction of digitalised process known as the Ogun State Education Revitalisation Agenda (OGSERA) platform will ensure prompt release of learners' results after sitting for examinations conducted by government
The State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu who gave the assurance to leaners during the monitoring exercise of the 2021/2022 promotion examination to schools in the Ijebu axis, expressed confidence that the introduction of the OGSERA platform would be an improvement on the examination system in the state
He pointed out that the government had produced examination materials, to ensure a maximum level of preparedness for the exercise.
Arigbabu noted that the smooth commencement of the examination and the sitting arrangements of learners are commendable, saying the government would continue to provide a conducive learning environment for teachers and students.
“Examination in the State has improved compared to what we used to have. The intention is to have a robust examination system that will be emulated by other States, with the use of OGSERA platform. We have digitalised a number of our processes, this has helped us tremendously even in the preparation for the promotion examination exercise”, he said.
In her remarks, one of the Principals of the visited schools, Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School, Mrs. Kemi Oshodi, says the school has put in place necessary measures for seamless conduct of the examination.
Others schools include, Luba Comprehensive College, Muslim Girls High School, Government Science, and Technical College and School for Children with Special Needs.
