The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board,(JAMB) has resumed its registration of prospective candidates for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and the Direct Entry (DE) towards admission into the nation’s tertiary institutions.
Edu-Biznews recalled that JAMB had last week April 8 placed suspension on the registration excercise, following the difficulty experienced by candidates in downloading the Apps to register for the examination, as a result of failure of the board to configure the National Identity Number, NIN properly.
JAMB spokesman,Fabian Benjamin announcing the lifting of the suspension on the registration process, in a statement on Saturday, explained that the technical issues which led to the suspension of the ongoing 2021 UTME and Direct entry registrations had been resolved.
The examination body according to Benjamin, noted that some candidates had already successfully registered for the examination since the registration opened.
