Edo2020:Team-Ogun Win More Gold As Delta, Edo Battle For Top Spot



Team-Ogun's Lolade Adeyemi continued her dominance in the Dart event on Saturday, clinching her third gold medal in women's 301 category at the on going Edo 2020 National Sports Festival in Benin-City

Ogun State  has so far brought its total medals haul to nine  gold, six silver and 20 bronze medals while Delta state still maintains her lead on the medals table with 47 gold 27 silver, closely followed  by the host Edo State who won 39 gold, 43 silver and 34 bronze medals, while Bayelsa occupies the third position with 27 gold 11 silver and 12 bronze medals.



Para-power lifer,Latifat Tijani had  opened the flood of gold medals for the team on day nine of the games when she picked gold in the women's para powerlifting. 

Team-Ogun also won two silver medals in Rugby and para athletics and two bronze medals in women 400 metres hurdles while  cyclists won two more gold,two silver and two bronze

Also the team's four boxers are through to their respective  finals while three more boxers will be seeking to box in the final on Sunday.

Similarly the state has its players in the Table Tennis event who are now within the  medal zone in the in Mixed Doubles event  

However  the state was denied chances of winning any medals in the 55kg of Dambe event
