CAF Confederation Cup: Enyimba Suffer Another Loss, Battle Pirates For Ticket

Nigeria's Enyimba International of Aba worsened its chances of qualifying for the next round in the CAF Confederation Cup, after suffering second consecutive loss in a rescheduled Group-A match against Al-Ahly Benghazi of Libya on Thursday

The Libyans defeated the Peoples Elephants with M.El Taib's strike in the 40th minute, to give the homeside a narrow lone-goal win, which earned the team its second position on the table with seven points behind leaders, Orlando Pirates of South Africa who have nine points

Enyimba who are yet to recover from the earlier 3-0 heavy defeat on the road to Algeria's ES-Setif, must beat the visiting Pirates comprehensively with at least three goals next week Wednesday, to overcome the team's three goals deficit and revive their hope of securing qualification ticket for a place in the quarter finals of the Africa's second tier clubs competition

The South African side are the only team yet to lose, after five round of matches in the group

The Nigerian side are currently in the third position with six points, behind the Al-Ahly who must avoid defeat against host, ES-Setif of Algeria with five points

The Algerians who are still at the bottom with five points, equally need a win, to scale through
